Sirohi is one amongst the small districts of the State. It is situated in the South-West of Rajasthan bounded by Pali district, in the North-East by Udaipur district, in the East by Gujarat State and Jalore in the West.

  • Electricity
There is 220 K.V. grid sub-stations (capacity 100 MVA) near Sirohi town and three 132/33 K.V. sub-station at Sirohi, Pindwar and Abu Road. Apart from the above stated sub-station, one 132/22 K.V. G.S.S. is also located at Abu Road. Sub-stations of 33/11 K.V. stations are also located among other places at Sirohi, Abu Road, Andhra Rahida, Patri Posaliya etc. there were 446 electrified villages and 77,445 nos. power connections released as on march, 2000.   
  • Water
Wells & tube wells are the principal sources of irrigation. Other means of irrigation are dams & tubes. There are 6 non-perennial rivers flowing in the district.   
  • Road Transport
The total length of different category of roads in the district is about 1440 Km. as on 31 March, 2000.   
  • Rail Transport
There are 9 railway stations in the district namely Kishanganj, Sirohi Road, Bans, Saroopganj, Kviralli, Morthala, Abu Road and Maval. A 62 km stretch of Ahmedabad-Delhi railway line passes through the district.

The nearest airport is at Udaipur (110 Kms).
