Dholpur is a newly formed district of Rajasthan, carved out of Bharatpur district. It is bounded on the northeast of the Agra district of Uttar Pradesh, on the south by the Morena district of Madhya Pradesh, on the west by the Sawai Madhopur district and on the north by the Bharatpur district of Rajasthan. Dholpur shares its boundary with other regions, nevertheless the commonly used language is Hindi , agriculture is the main occupation of Dholpur district.
